P3A have been exploring division and fractions in Maths over the past few weeks. We have had so much fun completing different hands on activities to further our understanding of these concepts.
First, we shared out sweeties evenly and then used counters to share different quantities. These activities really help to visualise our learning.
Once we moved onto fractions, we created our own Pizza Fractions and described how the toppings covered a different amount of slices. We finished off the week by playing Roll and Colour the Fraction with a partner.
