P3A have been loving their new novel study ‘Charlotte’s Web’. After reading a few exciting chapters through the week, we showcased our love for the character of Charlotte by creating our own spider inspired webs.
Pupils used a range of parallel lines to create intricate spider web designs. Inside their web, pupils delicately wrote a positive adjective to describe themselves. Once happy with the design, learners outlined their work in either chalk or black pen and then the fun could begin - colouring!
Pupils were able to choose which artistic medium they wanted to use to complete their spider web. Some opted for chalk, some opted for coloured pencils and others opted for coloured pens. All of the outcomes were so eye catching! Have a look at our amazing artwork for yourself:
