As part of our topic, 'The Street Beneath My Feet' we are exploring caves and gems.
We looked at the colour wheel, discussing primary and secondary firstly and then looking at hot and cold colours.
From this, the children could choose a 'gem' to colour using a range of pens, pencils and crayons and chose whether to focus on 'hot' or 'cold' colours to shade it in.
