P3A dedicated so much time and effort to the creation of their Tartan Silhouette Art, ahead of the Scottish Celebration.
First, learners created their very own Tartan, inspired by the different variations often worn by the British Royal family. Some children opted for brighter tones, while others chose to include more traditional colours within their Tartan design. All learners were encouraged to take their time and focus on colouring in one direction, to really enhance the quality of their work.
Once happy with their Tartan, learners chose their favourite silhouette to add onto the centre of their Tartan. This required pupils to take exceptional care when cutting out their chosen figure, enabling them to utilise their previous cutting practice.
