We have began looking at the purpose of a dictionary and how to use it. But before we began looking for words, the children were tasked with knowing how to put words into alphabetical order and knowing how to order words which begin with the same letter.
We headed outside, each with a random word and as a class, needed to organise themselves into the right order. With the odd wee shuffle, the children did a great job sorting themselves correctly!
