P3A braved the elements and went outside to create some Natural Equations!
In class, we discussed the process of adding and subtracting and challenged ourselves to replace specific numbers with key outdoor features. After this, learners headed outside and worked in small groups to create equations for each given answer by using natural objects such as leaves, rocks, twigs and flowers to
represent different numbers.
Everyone collaborated effectively, with some pupils assuming the role of resource gatherer whilst others became the equation creators. All groups managed to create multiple natural equations with accurate answers.
This fun outdoor session placed a natural twist on our numeracy revision.
